    Frequently Asked Question!

We take most types of non-hazardous waste including:

    • Builders/construction/demo/DIY waste like kitchen/bathroom/bricks/soils
    • Plasterboard (please bag seperately)
    • Furniture & bulky household
    • Garden waste – grass, tress, leaves, soil etc
    • Wood – fencing, flooring, doors
    • Large appliances including fridges

For H&S and regulatory reasons we CANNOT remove hazardous waste like asbestos, oil, petrol, diesel, clinical or biological waste, batteries or paint. We suggest you contact your local council to dispose of these items.

We offer man & van rubbish removal, house & office clearance, shed, garage & conservatory soft strip

Yes, we do remove some reusable items for free but only if these items are included within orders of £60 and more. These collections are subject to onsite estimate.

It all depends.  Skip hire is great if you have lots of heavy, messy waste, whereas man & van rubbish clearance is cheaper and easier for more general, bulky waste. Skips are relatively expensive, take up quite a lot of room and you cannot adjust their size once they’ve been delivered.  Man & van rubbish removal is comparatively much cheaper, the size can be adjusted on the day and is normally available on much shorter notice.  In our experience, customers who haven’t used man & van rubbish clearance service before are very pleasantly surprised by how easy and cheap it ends up being compared to skip hire.  So as a general rule we recommend the man & van option unless you have lots of very heavy waste like rubble & soil.  It’s also a more Eco friendly option to skip hire.

Waste is segregated during the loading stage into three catergories, reusable, recyclable and then waste for disposal. Reusable items are taken for reuse, we work with 2nd hand stores and charity shops for this. Recycling and waste for disposal is taken to licenced waste transfer stations for processing or disposal.

We are licenced by the Environment Agency. Our waste carriers licence number is CBDU365254. We’re also WAMITAB qualified, that’s not a legal requirement for this work but it’s something extra we have to demonstrate our knowledge and compliance.
